Nevada Business Address

Use our business address for free when you hire us as your Nevada registered agent

Many business owners don’t realize that simply filing company formation documents can reduce your privacy.

When you file your formation paperwork with the NV SOS, all of the information you provide goes on the public record, accessible to anyone who looks your company up using the Nevada Business Search.

So, if you list your home address because you work from a home office, scammers and others with prying eyes can easily find out where you live.

You can protect your privacy by using a Nevada business address like ours. List this address on your formation documents in place of your own to keep your personal address off the public record.

Why Our Business Address Is Better

You might have noticed we talk about our business address a lot on this site…

We know we’re not the only registered agent offering business address services, but we also know that our business address services are a cut above, thanks to owning our own building.

We Give you more than the average Registered Agent

The front entrance of our commercial building in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Your business address in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • A permanent commercial business address

  • Free use of our business address on your formation docs with us as your registered agent

  • Digital Mail Forwarding Service, including a unique suite number

  • Virtual Office Service, including a unique suite number + month-to-month office lease

How Our Business Address Works

So, how does using our business address work? And why do we keep talking about owning our building?

Registered Agent Address Versus Business Address

Our registered agent address is listed on your formation documents under the “Registered Agent for Service of Process” section.

Our Free Business Address

You can also use our registered agent address as your business address. You list this address anywhere you’d like in place of a private address. This includes your principal office address and the addresses of your members, managers, or directors.

Importantly, we don’t charge an add-on fee to use our business address—it’s included with your service when you hire us to serve as your Nevada registered agent, or to form your Nevada LLC or Nevada Corporation.

Get a Unique Business Address

If you need a business address that is specific to your business, we have two options: Mail Forwarding or Virtual Office Service.

With both services, you get a unique suite number so you have a business address that belongs to your business and your business alone.

Virtual Office includes a month-to-month lease you can use to verify that your company has a physical presence in Nevada.

Our Building, Our Address

We own our own building here in the heart of Las Vegas, so our business address is stable.

By contrast, many national business formation companies use vendors for their business addresses. If you get a business address through an agent that uses a vendor, you’ll have to update your address every time they switch vendors.

That’s not the case with us. With Nevada Registered Agent LLC, you get a permanent business address.

Beyond the Address

Using our business address is just the beginning.

Thanks owning our building, we have the resources to offer you digital mail management, month-to-month office leases, conference room rental (when available), virtual phone service, and more—all of which help you establish a professional business presence in Nevada.

Advantages of Using Our Nevada Business Address

When you use our business address, you’re protecting your personal information and crafting a strong business identity.

Protect Your Privacy

When you form or register a business with the Nevada Secretary of State’s office, all of the information provided on your paperwork goes on the public record, including all the names and addresses listed on your formation documents.

If you put down your home address because you work out of a home office or don’t have a set office space, your private address is easily accessible to the general public through the Nevada Business Search.

Listing our Nevada business address in place of yours on state documents prevents your personal address from being so readily available to the public. Because of this, you’re less likely to have salespeople or upset customers showing up at your home unannounced. You’ll also keep your address from getting into the hands of companies that like to send junk mail.

Maintain Your Professional Image

It’s important to establish a professional business image. This can be difficult if you work from a home office or coworking space, travel around a lot, or simply haven’t rented a commercial business space yet.

If you list your home address as your principal business address on your formation documents, anyone who looks up your company on the Nevada Business Search will be able to see that your business is run out of a residential address—not very professional.

Using our business address gives you a stable, legitimate commercial address to list on all your state paperwork so that you can avoid looking amateurish or shady. Our business address can help lend your company an air of credibility and foster trustworthiness with customers.

Keep It Simple

Another aspect of working from a home office or not having a fixed business location is that if you move or change locations, you’ll need to update your address with the Secretary of State, the Department of Taxation, and so on.

However, when you use our Las Vegas business address, it’s one and done. Because we own our building, our address is permanent. We don’t use address vendors like many of our competitors, forcing you to update your business address whenever they switch vendors.

On top of not having to worry about changing your address, you get the convenience of being able to get business address services like Mail Forwarding or Virtual Office in the same place you get your registered agent service.

You won’t have to go all over the internet to order multiple services and then keep track of all your login information and bills—you can easily manage all the services you need all in one place.

Digital Mail Forwarding & Virtual Phone Service

When you get Mail Forwarding or Virtual Office with us, you’ll see that we offer digital mail forwarding rather than physical mail forwarding service, and when we talk about your mail items, we refer to “regular mail items” and “mail scans.”

You’ll also see that our phone service is a virtual phone service. So, what does that mean for you?

What is digital mail forwarding?

With digital mail forwarding, we don’t send you a pile of physical mail items or force you to come pick up your mail. Instead, we open and scan your mail (envelope and letter) and then upload those mail scans into your online account.

This makes managing your mail a lot easier. You don’t have to worry about your mail getting lost while it’s being physically forwarded to you. Digital mail forwarding also prevents you from having to travel to get your mail and allows you to avoid mail clutter.

How Does “Open and Scan Service” Work?

Any mail we receive on behalf of your company that is not a state or legal document is a regular mail item. Regular mail items may include correspondence from your bank, communications from clients, or any other business mail you receive.

When your regular mail items are delivered to us, here’s what happens:

  • We’ll open each item, scan those items, and then upload those mail scans to your online account, just like we do with the legal and state documents we accept on your behalf as your registered agent.

  • We automatically filter out obvious junk mail so you don’t have any wasted scans.

  • For every scan we upload, we’ll send you an email notification that you’ve received a new mail item. You can view your mail scans anytime or from any place after logging in to your online account.

  • We then store the physical copies of your regular mail items securely for 50 days. After that, we shred these items for your privacy.

If you need a mail item physically forwarded to you, we can send you the requested item for $9 plus postage if you have Deluxe or Premium Mail Forwarding or Virtual Office Service, and $15 plus postage if you don’t.

What Is Virtual Phone Service?

A virtual phone service is a phone service that you can access with an app on your personal phone, computer, or other device using the internet. You can also have calls forwarded to any US phone number.

Using our phone service allows you to:

  • Look professional by providing customers with a company-specific phone number with a local NV area code
  • Avoid giving out your personal phone number to customers and other business connections

What’s Included With Our Phone Service?

You can use Phone Service on your personal device by downloading our free app from a US app store or through your client portal.

Here’s what you get:

  • Phone number with local NV area code
  • Unlimited calls
  • Unlimited SMS texts
  • Phone number with a local NV area code
  • Call forwarding (US number required)
  • Custom outgoing Caller ID
  • Custom voicemail greeting
  • Voice-to-text voicemail messages
  • Ability to receive 5- & 6-digit short codes from US companies for verification

Which Packages Include Phone Service?

Phone service comes with our Virtual Office package, and a 90-day free trial of Phone Service is included with Deluxe and Premium Mail Forwarding. Our phone service is only $9 after the free trial (many virtual phone service providers charge $20 a month!).

Nevada Business Address FAQ

Get answers to some of the most common questions we get about our Nevada Business Address.

When we receive your mail items, we don’t physically forward those items to you. Instead, we open each item and scan both the letter and the envelope. After that, we upload the scans to your online account. We send you an email notification with each new mail scan. You can view your mail scans anytime and anywhere by logging in to your online account.

We do not physically forward mail items to you. Our mail forwarding service is open-and-scan. This means that we open your mail and scan it, and then upload those scans to your online account (you get an email notification whenever you have a new scan).

After scanning your mail, we store it securely for 50 days before shredding it.

Unfortunately, we do not offer mail pickup from our office.

However, after scanning your mail, we do store it securely for 50 days before shredding it. You can request to have a mail item physically sent to you, and we’ll get it sent your way for $9 plus postage if you have Mail Forwarding or Virtual Office Service, and $15 plus postage if you do not.

If you end up receiving more mail at our address than anticipated, we’ll continue to scan your mail as it arrives so that it doesn’t get lost. You can view additional mail scans for $15 per document. You can also upgrade to a higher Mail Forwarding package or get unlimited mail forwarding with Virtual Office.

When you form a legal business entity in the Silver State, such as a Nevada LLC or Nevada corporation, you’ll need to list the principal office address for your business and an address for your registered agent.

Your registered agent’s address is the address where your business receives legal notices and other documents from the state. When you hire us, your registered agent address is our address.

Your principal business office is the location where you receive regular business mail. This can be the location of your physical office, your home address if you work from a home office, or a business address like ours.

Both addresses become part of the public record, so if you want to prevent your personal address from being publicly searchable on the state website, hire us to list our business address in place of yours.

Our free business address is the same as our registered agent address. To get a separate business address that is specific to your business, get our digital Mail Forwarding or Virtual Office service–you’ll get a unique suite number that differentiates your address from the address of any other business.

In Nevada, you must list a street address for your principal office.

You cannot use our business address as your registered agent address if you serve as your own registered agent. Service of process agents will go to our address, but you won’t be here to accept your documents. And because we’re not listed as your registered agent, we won’t be able to accept them, either.

If you’re serving as your own registered agent, you must use an address where documents can be delivered to you personally.

Yes and no. You can use our business address for Amazon verification, but you probably don’t want to list our address for product returns. We’re only prepared to accept, scan, and (if you want) forward documents, not return packages.

To change your business address, you’ll need to file an amendment with the Nevada Secretary of State. You can complete your filing online using SilverFlume, Nevada’s business portal, or by submitting a paper form through the mail or in person. You can find the amendment form you need using the Secretary of State’s Business Forms library. The filing fee for amendments is generally $175.
